How do I apply?

Debt Relief Order | Guide

There’s no need to go to court to apply for a DRO, however, you can only apply through an Approved Intermediary (in other words, an individual with the necessary permission to handle applications), such as the Debt Advisory Centre.

A DRO has a one-off £90 application fee payable to the Insolvency Service, and this can be paid in instalments if you can’t afford to cover it outright. The payment must be made via the Post Office or a Payzone branch.

You can find out more about the fee here
